The Ask

Launch Spotify Audiobooks in a big way by authentically connecting with Gen Z and showing them Spotify is more than just music.

The Concept

We wanted to get Gen-Z (from audiobook fanatics to brand loyal listeners, to paperback bookworms) to choose Spotify as their preferred audiobook and audio-streaming platform.

This was achieved by inviting the listener to engage with innovative, community-driven audio features, all through the Spotify App. The brand now offers an immersive and enhanced listening and narration experience.

We used insights to gather data on why users don’t listen to audiobooks. Then, we created in-app solutions to solve for those challenges.
